Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle’s political journey is rooted in grassroots engagement, public service and a close understanding of the everyday concerns of the people. From communities across Zamfara State to national service, his approach to leadership has emphasised listening, inclusion and practical action.He believes that meaningful politics begins with the people—the farmers, traders, students, women, young people, traditional institutions and community leaders whose voices must shape public decision-making. This people-centred approach has guided his service in the State Executive Council, the House of Representatives, as Governor of Zamfara State, and now as Honourable Minister of State for Defence.Dr. Matawalle continues to promote politics that creates opportunity, strengthens communities and advances peace. His vision is of a Nigeria where every citizen, regardless of background or location, has a voice, a stake and a fair chance to contribute to national progress.
